New Delhi: Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh from ‘Udta Punjab’ has planned to step into Bollywood industry, but despite his interest in Bollywood he is not in the hurry to sign a film early. He would choose the same character, that their fans would like most. The singer-turned-actor Diljit said stepping into the Hindi film industry does not means he is coming with any agenda. He is free from any agenda.

Diljit said: “I have nothing in mind for Bollywood. Recently, I received several Bollywood proposals for several Bollywood movies but I think there was nothing special in those films. My fans would not like it. I do not want to rush. Whatever work I will do next, I will ensure that it would not be ashamed for my fans. After the release of the film directed by Abhishek Chaubey Diljit said, probably it has increased the number of my fans, but with will not give me the tag of a celebrity. It does not make me feel like a celebrity. I did not act in ‘Udta Punjab to increase the number of my fans. Before doing any work I just want to make sure my fans would like it. I understand my responsibilities towards my fans.

Diljit will work with Anushka Sharma in their next film ‘Phillauri’ . Diljit says he has high regard for her. “It was  great working with Anushka. All of these great artists have the tact to make their junior artist feel comfortable in a very beautiful way. As an artist I’d respect her. ‘Sultan’ actress Anushka Sharma behave friendly and make good relations with her co-stars, but I rarely speak in front of her, because I do not want to appear crazy in front of her.

He said, “I’m very shy on set”. I do not speak much. When you are working with a big star like Anushka, you need to think before you speak. “He added,” First, I have problems in English. I think that maybe I do not understand the point of her, and I appear like insane. My Hindi is also not that good. I’m working on it. So I tend to speak less and I just speak in front of the camera. “However, once the camera is turned on then ” Sardar 2 ” star does give his best. Part of the reason that he is well aware of his responsibility towards filmmakers.

Furthermore, he said: “Once the camera rolls I become intense, I become fine and I understand my responsibilities that I do not disappoint the producers. ‘Diljit consider himself as a singer before an actor.
