Twinkle Khanna: ‘If you can not respect the living people…’

Mumbai: Twinkle Khanna remarked to Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah who became a hit back in the ’70s, in the Hindi film industry’ that he was hit because of his late father, Rajesh Khanna.

Rajesh Khanna’s elder daughter Twinkle and her mother, 42-year-old Dimple Kapadia tweeted: “Sir, if you can not respect the living people then please respect the died people — ‘Middle Class’ is a person who can not respond to the attack. “Shah said in an interview that the 70s was the time when Hindi films came in the middle level in the film industry and then Rajesh Khanna, who, according to him, was a ‘weak actor’.

Twinkle’s friend and filmmaker Karan Johar agreed for Shah’s criticized comments, Karan Johar said, “Its not good.  Karan said to the author of ‘Mrs. Funny Bone’ on the Twitter account that, “I agree with you” Seniority should be respected but that was not a good comment. Rajesh Khanna who performed in marvelous films like ‘Baharon Ke Sapne’,’ Aradhana ‘,’ Haathi Mere Saathi “,”Amar Prem” and “Aap ki Kasam” died in July 2012 due to cancer. Rajesh recognizes as Bollywood’s first superstar.
